PDM Response to May 9th Insurrection

The Argument that PTI presented in its 52k tweets abt May 9th alleged False Flag is that Highly Sensitive Military locations were left unguarded & multiple layers of security personnel & protocols were simply absent. They are trying to Scapegoat PDM for this Whole Fiasco.

The question abt unguarded gates & Zero resistance was something I was noting as soon as May 11th. PTI had shared their intentions all over whatsapp so if there was an element of Entrapment that could be considered a wise & well calculated move by the State & Military Forces.

What PDM should be Aware of is that they don’t fall into another type of Entrapment Fuelled by Rage against those who Challenged the Writ of the State itself PDM shd not allow itself to become Judge Jury & Executioners of the Armed Forces As we Well Know theyre Equipped to Manage.

Regardless the Most Important thing for PDM to keep in its Front Pocket is that it is Entirely Impossible for a Civilian Government in Pakistan to Dictate how the Army handles Security Protocols in the middle of a violent uprising or at any other time either.

PTI decided to go one on one with one of the most powerful Armies in the World The smartest thing that PDM can do right now is completely get out of the way in this stand off & not do the menial work of how to punish PTI. PDM Must Focus on Civilian Supremacy & #CharterofDemocracy

PDM should Demand :
*Transparency Regarding Arrests & Publish Full List of Names of Men also they are human as well FGS
*Oppose banning IK on Television this only strengthens the Narrative he is a Martyr which he Absolutely is Not
*Fix the Supreme Court (Not just for May 9th)

So Dear PDM I am Rooting for you. A Lot of ppl are. You are the Glue Holding Pakistan Together rn. Do Not become the Army’s Henchmen. Proceed w your Democratic Plans of how to Restore Law & Order & Justice for All Civilians. Military Courts are an Awful Precedent a Slippery Slope.

Obviously once the Army Courts become the go to for Civilians the Logical Next Step would be to Outlaw critique of the State on Social Media. What if our words here become grounds for Military Trials?! They Surely Will so Everybody Needs to Calm down & Think abt the Supreme Court.
